Victory Church has secured and paid for land looking to build its new church home in 2027. The location of the land is along HWY 169 on the way out of town to the South. It is a fantastic and visible location to build a facility to serve and bless our community and county alike. We want it to be a place where needs are met and people can come explore faith as well. The Bible demonstrates that when a person reaches an age of understanding that they can choose to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior they then publicly declare it in baptism. Every year we have at least one baptism weekend outdoors for those declaring Jesus is Lord. Last year we had fourteen individuals declare publicly their faith and this year many more are following Jesus' command to be baptized the last week in August. We practice baptism on children and adults who acknowledge Jesus is Lord by full immersion which was demonstrated in the Bible. We do not create or do any other form of baptism like infant baptism for it was never taught or demonstrated in the Bible. Things like infant baptism arose centuries after Jesus' ministry trying to answer fears of parents as to what happens if a baby or young child decides to follow Jesus in life. At Victory we believe that if a person doesn't reach the ability or age to decide Jesus is the Savior of the world the Lord takes them to heaven out of His grace, mercy, and divine love.  Everyone else is commanded to be baptized after they are born again that is why Victory baptizes believers in accordance to the Bible. God's terms, God's ways.
