We are plan A, do you know that? The church is the means to grow God's kingdom by helping others believe in Jesus and trust Him as their Lord. The church is the goodness of God in the center of a dark and cold world. 

            Jesus said He was about one thing and one thing only before His return and that is building the Kingdom of God through His body the Church. (Lk 4:43) Our marching orders are to make more disciples--baptizing them and teaching them. (Mt. 28:19,20). All of these truths demand an answer to a spiritual question. Since we were created to bring God glory with our lives and to make disciples of the church a question must be proposed....

       "If not you, then who?" We have established that we are the servants of the Lord commanded to obey Him and our whole purpose is to help others make Jesus the Lord of their life. If each of us, that is YOU,  does not do that we are rebelling against God. We are not living out God's purpose for our lives. We are plan A, there is no plan B--if not you, then who?

         We must own our faith and our purpose, because if we do not Jesus truly is not our Lord and we do not care if others are lost and without hope. We do not love with the same heart and mind as God. We are more like chamaeleons than bold Christ followers. The term "practical atheism" is often given to the modern church, blending into the ways of the world but on Sunday proclaiming our faith. Ultimately, we answer for how we live out our lives at death, what will your answer be to the Lord when asked "if not you, then who?"
